Saucy Mama – The Perfect Pop-Up In Guerneville

This post comes at the perfect time. Why? Because tomorrow night at Three Alarm Grill Yvette Bidegain, otherwise known as Saucy Mama, will be cooking up soul food at Three Alarm Grill (707-604-6102, 16218 Main Street, Guerneville, CA 95446).

Every Monday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM you’ll find Yvette, her husband, and the rest of the crew serving up West County’s best soul food. Fried chicken, ribs, beans and greens, macaroni and cheese… the options are out of this world, the price is right and everything is made with a lot of love.

People of West County – Wild Sage Yoga and Deneene Bell

This is our very first “People of West County” post. Within 20 Miles of our little hamlet there are thousands of people doing amazing things. We are so proud to feature our friend and member of the Big Bottom family Deneene Bell of Wild Sage Yoga.

In addition to Deneene being one of West County’s talented yogis her son is working at Big Bottom Market this summer. Join us on Wednesday nights through August 15th for Wilder’s Wing Wednesdays.

Proper British Cheese From William Cofield Cheesemakers

We have a new event at the Market called Layover. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, we stay open until 9:00 PM and people “Layover” while waiting for a table at one of the great restaurants here on Main St. in Guerneville. Yummy bites are served along with $8 glasses of amazing wines.

Last Friday we decided to give people the chance to “upgrade” to a tasty dinner. The menu offered up lemon and rosemary roasted chicken wings; roasted potatoes, carrots and shallots; and tasty salad dressed with the Market’s Champagne Vinaigrette.
